HPC is becoming a strategic R&D resource and there is an unprecedented surge in demand for HPC resources. The National Supercomputing Centre (NSCC) Singapore has revised its Strategic Resource Allocation policy to align with its role as a National Research Infrastructure (NRI). We will support key national R&D programmes and research projects to achieve significant economic outcomes and scientific imperatives for Singapore.

Resource Allocation to Personal Projects (ASPIRE 2A Only)

Note

This policy is subject to change in the future.

For training and promotional purposes, a personal project is automatically created for eligible users on ASPIRE 2A with the following resource allocations:

  • For users from A*STAR, NTU, NUS, SUTD: 100,000 SU and 50 GB of storage

  • For users from SIT, SMU, SUSS, NP, NYP, RP, SP, TP: 10,000 SU and 50 GB of storage

Users can view their allocated quota after logging into the system. This allocation is one-time only with strictly no top-up. Any additional resources must be requested through the Strategic Resource Allocation framework.

On ASPIRE 2A+, no personal project is created and no resources are provisioned in this manner.
